Bathroom design case studies

BATHROOMS DON’T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!

A gorgeous family bathroom, based in Beckenham. A striking mix of sage green, wood tones and pops of black.

We used the semi-free standing bath for a modern feel, plus it gives a softer entrance to the bathroom with its curved edges. It ticks both boxes for a freestanding look, while it has the practical ledges for taps and toys, with no water washing over the back and onto the floor.

We have used a mix of Gunmetal PVD taps for their longevity and matt black accents on the large, sliding shower door and heated towel radiator.

The large 2 drawer basin unit has plenty of ledge space for everyday items which need somewhere to rest. An in-built toothbrush charger sits conveniently over the basin for easy access and within reach of the children.

To keep a feeling of space, the client opted for a large mirror above which sits behind the shelf.

The detailed niches for bottles and storage are just the cherry on the top pairing the wood effect tiles and neutral stone walls together.

It is simply a lovely, luxurious space for the family to enjoy.

The perfect family bathroom…..

A relaxed sanctuary that is both a fun place for the family time, but also for a tranquil soak in the bath once the little ones are asleep. Slip away for some ‘me time’.

Here we have created a lovely cosy space with beautiful wood tile details, blended with soft stone and brushed nickel finishes.

The Super steel shower bath was selected for rigidity and quality. The bath offers a perfect shower and bath option. With a wide standing base the space doesn’t feel restricted and the enamel finish will always be easy to clean – plus it comes with a 30 year manufacturer’s guarantee!

Tiled niches were added for interesting detail and the all important bottle storage.

The large basin and vanity unit featured in a soft stone colour are the perfect spot for busy mornings and the deep drawer provides ample tall storage for everything you’d want to hide away.

The finishing touch is the LED recessed mirror cabinet for cosmetics and charging points. The steam free doors will always be quick and easy to use after use.

The wall hung toilet makes for easy cleaning with a quick release seat and matching nickel flush plate.

The radiator and brushed nickel fluted brassware have a warmer and softer contemporary feel.

This stunning family friendly and will stand the test to time.

A peaceful bathroom in which you can renew and refresh in…..

A calm space to start your morning routine or a retreat at the end of the day.

Soft sage green and brushed brass working together in harmony, providing a relaxed feel.

This room doubles up as a cloakroom and guest ensuite. A large shower with contrasting tiles takes centre spot. The colour scheme elsewhere is fresh and bright, maximising the light coming through the ceiling window.

The vanity basin enables the room to be clutter free with ample storage in the drawer beneath and extra bottles can be tucked away in the LED steam free, recessed mirror cabinet.

2 electric brushed brass radiators will dry the towels, while the underfloor heating ensures the rest of the room is cosy.

A gorgeous master en-suite….

Here we have designed a large walk-in shower with ceiling mounted overhead and hand spray, finished with gorgeous brushed bronze. With an alternative deeper finish to popular brass, it has a richer tone and offers warmth and a contrast to the neutral stone large format tiles. The fluted detail on taps and shower fittings is the perfect finish, adding a luxury feel and a touch of texture.

A bronze sliding door was used to keep the steam heat and splashes in. It is also perfect for a smaller room, with the door sliding so there are no drips on the floor, or doors opening out into the room.

The single vanity unit is made from top quality ceramic, with antibacterial glaze. Beneath the basin is a bespoke finish drawer, in a rich wood finish basin. The client opted for a single drawer unit as it allows taller bottles to be stored. An under-basin sensor light acts as a nightlight and removes the shadow spot beneath. Plus, the recessed led, steam free, mirror cabinet is perfect for electric toothbrushes and extra cosmetics, perfumes and aftershaves.

The wall hung toilet pan with hidden cistern sits simply on the wall with its matching bronze flush plate for a minimal look allowing the rest of the bathroom to ‘show off!’.

Small but perfectly formed!

Small but beautiful!
We enjoyed working with our client to find the best design for this compact family room. The room is under 3m2!
We used a short bath but it’s still roomy enough for a bath and shower, and perfect for the children. The minimal frame folding screen helps to make it feel less cramped and to keep the taps accessible.
The deep drawer vanity unit and rustic olive tiles combine perfect with the patterned
floor tiles.
We added additional storage in the large mirror cabinet which helps to make the room feel more spacious.

A truly beautiful  bathroom!
This bathroom was designed for a family with 2 teenage daughters. Aren’t they lucky?!

We provided lots of storage for them to hide away their lotions and potions!
The ‘must have’ on the shopping list was the brushed nickel taps. They provide a warmer feel compared to chrome fittings, and the brushed finish has a more contemporary feel. The calacatta gold and soft stone feature tiles work well with the neutral colour vanity and
tall storage unit. The girls can dress the bathroom up or down in any colour they like!

Bromley, BR1.

This stunning bathroom combines a bath and shower together, yet still captures a modern free standing look so it is practical yet beautiful to look at.
We used earthy, desert tone tiles in the wet areas and the client selected a feature wallpaper for the mirror wall and a soft green paint for the remaining walls.
The brushed nickel brassware works a treat against the palette and comes with a 20 year guarantee!
The dark wood vanity unit adds storage and works well with the tiled wood effect floor to add depth and balance to the scheme.
